Offering 13years experience in Occupational Therapy and more than 30years working in public and private health, Joanne has a unique understanding of her clients experiences and needs relating to health and disability.

 

She maintains a small case load in order to focus on the needs of her clients.

Occupational Therapy services are offerred accross Metropolitan Melbourne, and rural victoria (by negotiation) with an emphasis on Western Suburbs where Joanne has largery focused her practices over the past 13years.

 

Joanne is passionate about assisting clients achieve their goals through person- centred, goal- focused and evidence-based practice.

 

From her experience working in multi-disciplinary teams Joanne understands the importance of all parts of the client’s formal and informal support network working together assisting the client to achieve their goals.

Joanne’s OT work has largely been in North and Western Melbourne and has developed an extensive professional network across these regions.

 

Joanne believes it is important to invest time in further developing her professional network and regularly attends clinical supervision, OT conferences, retailer displays and participates in a local OT networking group to ensure her practice is up to date.

The Tabono is a West African Adinkra symbol. Four oars symbolise strength, hard work, persistence and working together towards a common goal.

 

This is the goal of Tabono Occupational Therapy - commitment to working hard,with the client and their support networks, towards common goals.
